Green, Gorgeous and Eco-Chic!

Last night’s Global Green: Green and Gorgeous event seemed a great success!  With my dear friend and fellow New Oreleanian, Andrea, as my date, we were pleased to attend the event, which helped raise money for the sustainable redevelopment of New Orleans, a cause that both Andrea and I feel very passionately about. 

The crowd was young, energetic and full of passion.  The eco-cocktails by VeeV, Square One, Yellow Jersey, etc. were delicious, and the organic sweet treats looked divine!  The fashion show proved that eco-friendly clothes = eco-fabulous styles!  And I was so pleased to try out Jane Iredale’s new lip crayons and speak with the founder of Juice Beauty (I will elaborate on this later, very exciting stuff!).

The night was amazing, and the gift bags were even better, check out all of these goodies!

I was also so pleased to find a locally made dress in the precious vintage boutique, Painted Bird.  Though I did do some last minute alterations that involved the removal of a sleeve–thank goodness of all that sewing I did as a kid!
